Vintage The Magpie Annual 1969 Based On The Popular Childrens Television Series - Fantastic Condition - Former Shop Stock. Released by Atlas Publishing in late 1968 for the upcoming 1969 year. This fantastic Magpie Annual is based on the very popular childrens Magazine Television Series which ran from 1968 to 1980 and was ITV's rival to the every popular BBC's Blue Peter. The annual is presented by the tv series presenters of the time - Susan Stranks, Tony Bastable and Pete Brady and includes articles and features that had been on the show the previous year including -  The Magpie Collection, Water Ski-ing With Pete Brady, Make It In Silver Foil, Lets Really Save The Tiger, The Adventures Of Murgatroyd Magpie, Sweet Ideas, From Jenny Wren To Magpie, Ballet For Beginners, Round The World Loners, Treasure Nest, How To Look After Your Pet, A Swason In Jail and many many more. The book is in fantastic condition for its age, which is amazing when you consider it is now over 55 years old. The front and back pages are still nice and clean and bright & colourful with practically no visual signs of any wear. The spline is also in fantastic condition, again with no visual signs of any wear. Internally the book is in near mint condition, all 78 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright with no signs of any damage, or markings on any page.
