Vintage Triang 1967 Gerry Andersons Captain Scarlet And The Mysterons - 21st Century Driving - Pursuit Set - Slotted Car With Touch Drive Spectrum Cars - Good Condition In The Original Box. Released by Triang in 1967 in association with Magicar By Rovex Industries when Captain Scarlet was at the height of its popularity during its first run on television. This fantastic Captain Scarlet And The Mysterons - Pursuit Set is a super slotted auto highway with switch junctions and two touch to drive Spectrum Salon Cars, Captain Scarlets in Red and the rogue Captain Ochre in Yellow. The set includes 8 x Curved Track Pieces, 5 x Straight Track Pieces, 2 x Switching Track Pieces, 1 x Red Spectrum Saloon Car Body, 1 x Yellow Spectrum Saloon Car Body and 2 x Battery Operated Vehicle Chassis. For added nostalgia, the set also contains two original HP7 batteries from 1967 albeit dead ones. The set is in over all very good condition with very little signs of usage, however at some point in its life, the chassis appear to have had some battery leakage, and consequently are not working, so will require some attention for them to drive again. The box is also in very good condition witch is also amazing considering its age, with only some minor signs of wear and along the edges and a few splits to the plastic windows. Despite its flaws, it still is a truly wonderful find of a very rare vintage Captain Scarlet Auto Highway Pursuit Set from 1967.
