Vintage Purnell 1964 The Wizard Of Oz Large Illustrated Hardback Book For Ages 5 To 9 Years - Very Good Condition. Released by Purnell in 1964 and is an adaptation of the beloved story, especially for younger readers. This fantastic The Wizard Of Oz Hardback Book tells the story of Dorothy and her beloved dog Toto's journey to Oz and their adventures trying to reach the Wizard Of Oz who has the power to send them back home to Kansas. Perfectly adapted for the younger readers with each page containing beautiful illustrations in both colour and black and white that relate to each pages text. The book is in very good condition overhaul which is amazing considering it is now over 60 years old. The front and back covers are nice clean and bright with only minor signs of wear which is mainly on the corner edges. The spline is also in very good condition, again with only minor signs of wear on the top and bottom edges. Internally the book is in fantastic condition, all 59 pages are present and attached, they are clean and bright without any signs of damage or markings on any page.
