Vintage 1961 The Torchy Gift Book 2 - A Daily Mirror Book By Roberta Leigh - (Gerry Anderson Produced) Very Good Condition. Released by the Daily Mirror in 1961 and was the second book in the series. This fantastic The Torchy Gift Book 2 contains mono colour stories and strip stories with the amazing Battery Boy and is based on the very popular television series produced by Gerry Anderson. All the year round fun with Torchy, The Battery Boy. This book is in fantastic condition overhaul, which is amazing when you consider it is now over 64 years old, the front and back covers are nice clean and bright, with only the smallest signs of any wear on the very tips of the corner edges. The spline is also in very good condition again with only very very minor signs of any wear on the edge tips. Internally the book is very good, all 94 pages are in excellent condition, they are all clean and bright without any form of markings or damage on any page, however the page edges have started to brown due age and the type of paper that was used back in the day. The book has not been price clipped, it still shows the original purchase price of 5/-. A truly wonderful example of a vintage The Torchy Gift Book 2 from 1961.
