Vintage 1993 Star Wars Micro Machines The Death Star Action Play Set - Former Shop Counter Display Set. Released by Galoob in 1993 as part of their series of Star Wars Micro Machines Action Play Sets. This fantastic The Death Star Play Set is the Empires armored Space Station which opens into exterior-interior action playset and the features include - Working Lift Tube, Darth Vaders Meditation Chamber, Probot Launcher, Swing Up Gantry, Spring Fired Swing Out Turbolaser, Equatorial Trench, Superlaser Fires Spring Loaded Missiles, Probe Launching Hatch, Spring Launcher Imperial Capsule, Control Center, Emperors Throne Room, Storage Compartment Which Holds Missiles and Figures, Movable Winch With Refueling Hoses, Working Crane and Hoist For Cargo, Docking Bay and Overhead Gantry. Comes with 6 mini figures including Emperpr Palpatine, Imperial Royal Guard, Stormtrooper, Lord Darth Vader, Imperial Gunner and Imperial Pilot. Sadly the Tie Fighter is missing from the set. Former Shop Counter Display Set, spent several months in a glass display counter before being returned to the box and retired to the stock room for over 25 years. Discovered in the store room of a closing down shop with a whole host of other Star Wars items from a similar era. Some minor signs of wear along the edges of the box but otherwise fantastic.
