Vintage 1996 Playmates Star Trek The Next Generation Collectors Edition Transwarping Starship USS Enterprise NCC-1701D Model - Former Shop Counter Display Item. Released by Playmates in 1996 as part of their 30th Anniversary series of Star Trek The Next Generation Action Figures, Playsets and Vessels. This fantastic USS Enterprise NCC-1701D measures 11 inches long by 9 inches wide, it is an incredibly detailed model of the Enterprise that we all know and love commanded by Captain Picard, but with a difference, as it converts into the futuristic Transwarping Enterprise 25 years in the future of Picards Time Line, and commanded by Admiral William T Riker as seen in the final episode of the Next Generation television series - All Good Things. Former Shop Counter Display Item, spent about 6 months in a display case, before being returned to the box and retired to the stock room for over 20 years. Shop Stock Room Find. Discovered in the store room of a closing down shop with a whole host of other former display items from a similar era. Comes in the original box which is in fantastic condition, with only some very minor signs of wear on the tips of the corner edges, and includes the inner packing and the display stand.
