Vintage 1952 Louis Marx Rex Mars Planet Patrol Frame Tray Puzzle Investigating Alien Life. Produced by Jaymar Specialty Co. in 1953 on behalf of Louis Marx. Back in the 1950's, Louis Marx Toys was unable to purchase the license to an established Space Character like Flash Gordon or Buck Rogers, so they created there own in Rex Mars Space Pilot of Planet Patrol. The frame tray measures 14 inches X 11 inches, it contains 35 large inter locking pieces that sit firmly inside the frame. The puzzle is one of only four known different designs in the series. The image is of Rex Mars and his Co Pilot investigating Alien Life on an Alien Planet With the Space Patrol ship flying overhead.
