Vintage 1995 Vivid Imaginations Gerry Andersons Space Precinct 2040 Crime Busters Board Game - Former Shop Counter Display Item. Released by Vivid Imaginations in 1995 when Space Precinct was at the height of its popularity and airing on prime time television. Use your tactical skills to outwit the alien bad guys, track down the evidence, avoid interstellar magnetic storms, and keep the streets of Demeter City free from crime. Each player is issued with a case to solve. By moving around Demeter City in their Police Cruisers, players must gather evidence and locate and apprehend their suspect.
Players move by spinner or communication cards. Players move to relevant crime scenes to collect evidence. Once the player has collected four evidence tokens (including the three specific ones for their case) they can attempt to apprehend the suspect. To apprehend, the player trades unwanted evidence to look at a suspect card. Once apprehend then its back to the Station to win the game. Former Shop Counter Display Game. Spent several months in a shop counter display before being retired to the stock room for nearly 30 years. Contents are all still sealed and the counters have never been removed from the card.
