Vintage Selco 1965 Dr Who & The Daleks - 11 Inch Dalek Nursery Toy - In The Original Packet - Shop Stock Room Find. Released by Selco in 1965 during the height of Dalekmania as an addition to their Nursery Toys. This fantastic Selco Dalek stands a massive 11 inches tall by 6 inches wide,. it is made of hard blue plastic, is hollow and has a black stopper at the bottom. Presumably it was made to be filled with either sand or water. The Dalek is still sealed in the original plastic bag, with the original cardboard top but does have a split of about 4 inches on one side. The Dalek includes the Plunger Arm and the Gun Stick, but appears to be missing the eyestalk, which has probably fallen out through the split in the bag, which is likely to be the reason it was never sold. Otherwise its in as good as new condition, just as you would have found if you had bought the item new back in 1965. A truly amazing ultra ultra rare item from 1965.
