Vintage 1980 Speed Comic Issue No. 1 23rd February 1980 Fantastic First Issue - Fantastic Condition Very Very Rare (No Free Gift) - Former Shop Stock. Released by IPC Magazines on February 23rd 1980 and is the fantastic first issue number 1 in the weekly Comic series. This fantastic Speed comic is Issue Number 1 in the series and was a weekly comic which ran from 23rd February 80 to 25th October 1980 and then merged with its sister comic Tiger. The Comic includes 8 colour and black and white high speed comic strip stories including Tops On Two Wheels, Quick On The Draw, Journey To The Stars, Death Wish, and much much more. Originally came with a free speed plane, but we was unable to find it. The comic is in near mint condition, which is amazing considering its now over 43 years old, with no visual signs of any wear, just some very very minor browning on a few of the page edges due to age and the type of paper that was used back in the day.
