Vintage 1976 Gerry Andersons Space 1999 Paperback Book - Rogue Planet By E.C. Tubb - Based On The TV Series. Released in 1975 by Futura Publications as part of their series of Space 1999 novels based on the TV series. Many and strange have been the adventures of Moon Base Alpha and its crew since the atomic waste pits on the dark side of the Moon exploded and sent them careering out of Earth orbit, deep into unexplored space. Always they have managed to overcome their perils and continue their strange Odyssey. Now, at last they seem to have reached the end of the road, as caught in a weird cone of force emanating from a sentient planet, they find themselves ageing at an incredible rate and powerless to break free. The book is in Very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now over 46 year old. The front and back covers are nice clean and bright with only minor signs of wear which are mainly along the edges and a few minor creases. The spline is also in very good condition, again with only some minor signs of wear along the edges. Internally the book is in very good condition, all 144 pages are present and attached they are clean and bright without any damage or writing or markings on any page other than the page edges have tanned slightly due to age and the type of paper that was used back in the day.
